Generic.com covers everyday shopping in 25 categories, from pet food to tools to baby gear. Nobody knows every category, so each one can be run by a partner who knows it best: a blogger, a shop owner, a deal hunter, or just someone who can't stop comparing prices.
What a category partner does
- Finds the best generic deal in their category and tells us when a better one shows up.
- Keeps it honest. Real prices, checked on the store's own page. Store brands and no-name products first. No hype.
- Knows the category. Which generic is as good as the name brand, and which one isn't worth it.
What a partner gets
- Your name on the square: "Run by you," on the Generic.com homepage.
- A link to your site from your category.
- Being part of Generic. The name everyone already knows, for low prices on everyday things.

The fine print
The Generic category partner program is informal. It is not a franchise, license, partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship, and joining doesn't create any contract. There are no fees and nothing to buy. Partners aren't paid by default; any payment arrangement would only happen under a separate written agreement. Generic.com decides what appears on the site and can add, change, or remove a partner at any time, and a partner can stop at any time. The Generic.com name and look belong to Generic.com. Partners may say they run a Generic.com category while they do, but may not use the name in any other way.
